RAEL AWARDS “HONORARY GUIDEÂ? TITLE TO BRITISH POP STAR GEORGE MICHAEL
Raël, founder of the Raëlian Movement, has just awarded the title of Honorary Guide to singer George Michael for his latest video in which he denounces President George Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair for their intent to attack Iraq. In the video, Blair is shown as a dog on a leash held by Bush. The video is so shocking that several British television channels have censored it.
It is only the third time in 29 years that Raël has awarded this honorific title. The first recipient was Sinead O’Connor for having publicly torn up a photo of the Pope, and the second was Madonna for her erotic video, which took place in a church.
