If you think of the most fashionable and influential women in the world one woman who always springs to mind is Madonna. Over the years Madonna has changed her fashion a lot, she’s always up to date with the latest trends and more often than not it’s her who sets them.

Over the last 20 years there’s lots which has changed in the world of fashion, but one thing which remains is the friendship between Madonna and Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.

Whereas the Spice Girls chose Roberto Cavalli to design their costumes for their come back tour, Madonna remained faithful to D&G and on the opening night of her 2008 “Hard Candy” tour she and all of her backing dancers wore outfits designed by the duo. What’s more, in the video for the single “4 Minutes”, in which she collaborated with Justin Timberlake, Madonna and JT can both be seen wearing Dolce and Gabbana.

And Justin isn’t the only man in her life who is connected to Dolce and Gabanna. Her new boyfriend, Brazilian model Jesus Luz, became a model for the designers back in June of this year appearing on the catwalk for their 2010 Spring/Summer menswear show in Milan.

Madonna once again showed her love for D&G earlier this year when she appeared on the cover of W magazine, looking impeccable for her age wearing very little except a pair of sunglasses from their latest collection. Despite the fact that she looks spectacular it’s the striking D&G 3030s which attract your attention and once again she has set the trend for the season as many other celebrities such as Jessica Alba, Reece Witherspoon and Eva Longoria have all been spotted with a pair of these fantastic designer sunglasses.
